The mark, decoded
Griffin is my second son.
The griffin on the mark is his name. The katana is for my teacher’s town, Japan’s blade capital. And グリフィン is simply “Griffin,” written in Japanese.
He keeps me sharp with questions like “Do bees get COVID?”
The same patience, care, and respect I bring to parenting guide how I treat every blade: expertly guiding the edge, preserving what matters, and maintaining lasting sharpness and edge-health.
